Social connection catalyst
Cher's path as a speaker and connection catalyst was launched after being a keynote speaker at a large women's leadership event in 2010 on the topic of curbing Christmas chaos and how being with friends and family make it a joyful season. She received a certificate in Happiness Studies a few years later and launched her blog and website, Living Happily Connected, writing on social connection topics. Since then, she is on a mission to ignite the lost art of having real, face-to-face connections with others to combat the current loneliness epidemic. She uses her skills as a corporate and health care communications expert to make positive change in the area of connection.

Living Happily Connected started as a blog and has grown into the foundation of everything Cher teaches, writes, and speaks about today.
What she does today
Through speaking, blogging, creating connection books and resources, and sharing videos on her social media platforms, Cher wants people to rethink the way they connect and communicate. Her work brings together real-life experience as a mom and wife, research, inspiration from other cultures and the media and present them in a way that is easily digestible so people can apply immediately.
Cher and her husband Brian Knebel have been living happily connected the past 30 years and are the proud parents to two adult daughters who both work in the mental health industry. Brian supports Cher's business in marketing, product and business development.
